Lady, our Greyhound, came to us from a racetrack in Juarez, Mexico, in 2003. She was two years old at the time, and became a part of the family immediately. Many people do not realize how easy Greyhounds are to adopt. They have been trained to walk well on a lead, and are accustomed to little freedom since they are crated most of the time when racing.
